    Consequently, AGEs management is considered very essential for a healthy practice for anti-aging.

     

    A way to decrease AGEs can be summarized in two basic steps: blocking the process by which AGEs are generated and then eliminating the already generated and accumulated AGEs from the body (Figure 6).

    In an attempt to reduce the generation of AGEs, it is also necessary to limit the intake of baked and fried foods and to eat carbohydrates with a low glycemic index (GI).

     

    Furthermore, it is advisable to weaken any conditions that are likely to precipitate oxidation in the body, such as stress and sleep disorder.

     

    It is also recommended to eat vitamin C, glutathione, lipoic acid, etc. with strong antioxidant activities as well as vitamins B₁, B₂, B₃, B5, and B6 known to activate glucose metabolism.

     

    In addition, Licorice injection may be greatly helpful in reducing inflammation and boosting metabolism.

     

    In recent years, multiple nutritional supplements that prove effective in suppressing glycation and reducing accumulated AGEs have gained great attention upon their release.

     

    Above all, I find it most important that once you choose any method, you stay with it steadily.
